Thanks for sharing that video. I've heard a lot of positive reviews about the Paleo diet. It's definitely very effective.

I am a 37 year old mother of two who was diagnosed with Lupus 9 years ago. I am planning to go Paleo and start crossfit within the month. I can't wait to feel better, to not feel sick and old. I want to a long and healthy life. Not be dependent on medicine and doctors, just waiting for Lupus to take my life.
Thank you so much for posting that video. Truly inspirational.

Not posting to be a downer, but I hate misleading posts. There is no cure for lupus. You can have have the condition and have your symptoms reduced or eliminated, but this doesn't mean the lupus is cured. Also, exercise is recommended for people with lupus, but being that some lupus symptoms are joint pain, tendonitis, and fatigue, high intensity exercise programs like Crossfit can actually make symptoms worse. In fact, my lupus was discovered when I went to the doctor to find out why a hip injury from crossfit would not heal. As for the Paleo diet, YMMV. Food intolerances and allergies can lead to lupus, but that is not the case for everybody. I tried the Paleo diet for 4 months with no response. Anyone with lupus reading this, please be aware that the nature of the disease is so varied, what may work for one person might not work for you. Listen to your body and don't stick with something if your body starts telling you no.
